Sergey S. Dreiden
Graduated Leningrad State Institute for Theatre, Music and Cinema in 1962 (course of T. Soynikova).
Played in the Leningrad Theatre of Miniatures manage by Arkady Raikin. In 1963-1964 — at the Theatre of Drama and Comedy.
In 1964-1968 and from 1970 to 1980 — in the Saint Petersburg Comedy Theatre. Among the notable works — Vidoplyasov (The Village of Stepanchikovo), Volik Gora (The Goose quill), Bergamo (The Romantics), Piano (The Concert for?), Narkiss (Hot heart). From 1986 to 1994, played a solo performance Byplay (improvisation on The Government Inspector by N. Gogol), as well as in plays by A. Sokolova.
Since the late 1990's. played in St. Petersburg's theatres: Tullius in the Marble — White Theatre, Adolf in the Father (premium Golden Sofit, 1998, Golden Mask, 2000), Neschastlivtsev in The Wood (1998), Orsino in Twelfth Night (2003) — Tovstonogov Great Drama Theatre; Shmuel Sprol in Lost in the Stars- St. Petersburg Theatre On Liteiny.
In 1995, he played Argan in The Imaginary Invalid (Moscow Theatre named after M. Yermolova). Composed and performed the play-improvisation How things change.
In the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre plays Gaev in the performance The Cherry Orchard directed by Adolf Shapiro.
Winner of awards international theatre festivals.
Acted in such films as: About Love, The Fountain, Window to Paris, Russian Ark and others.
