Marina Brusnikina

Graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School in 1982 (course of O. Efremov). She teaches in the Moscow Art Theatre School from September 1988. In 1985 was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Art Theatre, where she was until 2003. Since 2002 working in the Moscow Art Theatre as director and teacher.

She played in such performances as: “The Seagull“ (Masha), “Echelon“ (Tamara), “Valentin and Valentina“ (Katyusha), „Old New Year” (Luba), „Pearl Zinaida” (Kolya's wife), „Crazy” (Klava), «The wedding night or 37 of May» (Kuznetsova), “Deer and Shalashovka“ (Bella), “In the neighborhood we live“ (Lyubka), “Barbarians“ (Stepa), “Platonov“ (Sofia Yegorovna), “Moscow Choir“ (Laura), “Platonov“ (Sofia), “A Cry in the handful“ (Nina), “Woe from Wit“ (Natalia Dmitrievna), „Boris Godunov” (Ksenia), „The Storm” (Varvara), „Eternity and One More Day” (Kalina's mother and Sophia), „The Rose Tattoo” (Flora), „Professor of literature” (Prepolovenskaya) and others.

Acted in such films as: „The plot for the two stories”, „Perlimplin”, „Chekhov and Co”, «Detectives-2».

Award “Crystal Rose of Victor Rozov“ for the cycle „Evenings of the Moscow Art Theatre” on contemporary prose and poetry performed by young actors.
Since 2002, as a director of the Moscow Art Theatre, staged: “Flying-pass goose“ (State Prize of Russia), “Sonechka“, “The light taste of treason“, “White on the black“, “The sun was shining“, “Swift current river“ (Prize “Golden Lyre“), „Tutish”.
In the Moscow Theatre named after Pushkin staged „The Gypsies”.
In the Moscow Theatre „Satyricon” staged „Ah yes Pushkin!” and „Case”.
In the Novosibirsk Theatre „Globus” staged „My Marusechka”.

Professor. Head of the Department of elocution in the Moscow Art Theatre School. In 2008, with the fourth course (course of Constantine Raikin) staged “Hamlet”. In 2009, received a Prize of the People's Artist of USSR named after Mikhail Tsarev in the nomination “For successful education of actors change”.
