Set DesignersCostume DesignersLighting DesignersVideo | Vladimir Arefiev was born in Frunze (Kirghizia) in 1949. He graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Institute of Arts in 1973 (teachers — V. Ryndin, M. Kurilko, M. Pozharskaya). From 1974 — 1985 he worked as stage designer at the Dnepropetrovsk Opera. Since 1993 he has been Chief Stage Designer of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow academic Music Theater. Also works for the other Music and Drama theaters in Russia and abroad. Member of the Russian Artists' Union since 1976. Awards include the National Theater Award Golden Mask(1996). More than 100 productions, including: Boris Godunov by M.
