Irina Pegova

In 1995, she entered the Nizhny Novgorod Theatre School on course of B. Bogomazov, in 1997 — the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts on acting and directing courses of P. Fomenko.

In 2001 she was accepted into the troupe of the Pyotr Fomenko Studio. In 2006 she moved to the troupe of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, where plays in performances: “The Seagull“ by A. Chekhov (Masha), “Don't part with your beloved“ by A. Volodin (Woman and Judge), “The humpbacked little horse” by Presnyakov brothers, based on fairy-tale by Peter Ershov (Ordinary girl, Mare, Tsarl Maiden).

Winner of the National Theatre Award „Golden Mask” (Sonya in the performance „Uncle Vanya” (2004), Moscow Chestnova in the performance “The story of a happy Moscow” (2008)) and the Theatre Award “Crystal Turandot“ (Moscow Chestnova in the performance „The story of a happy Moscow”(2007)), the Golden Eagle Award for Best Actress in 2003 ( “The story of a happy Moscow“), Film Festival Prize „Window to Europe” (Vyborg, 2003), Youth Award “Triumph” (2007).

In the Moscow Theatre managed by O. Tabakov plays in performances: “Uncle Vanya“ by A. Chekhov (Sonya), “The story of a happy Moscow“ by Andrei Platonov (Moscow Chestnova) and „Crazy Day or The Marriage of Figaro” by P. de Beaumarchais (Suzanne).
