|The Village of Fools| | |||||||
Opening night: November 25, 2014 Running time: 2 h 45 m, with one intermission Ticket price range: 1500—2000 rub. Natalia Klyuchareva's tale Village of Fools is a symphony of Russian life and a kaleidoscope of modern provincial characters told by the young but already reputable author. Marina Brusnikina, director of the production, is trying to preserve this fresh youthful feeling. At the heart of the play is the story of a young teacher searching for his own identity and for his place in life. Our production is an attempt to answer the burning questions: who we are, what is the meaning of our lives, how can we help our close ones who are in need. Marina Brusnikina's passion is working with young actors and developing their talent. In this production they make up the core of the cast. Their voice, full of youth and spontaneity, is particularly important for us, as we move onward trying to preserve our traditions while leading the search for the new voices.
